Outreach
Educating the Community
A critical part of being an educator is not just working with my own students, but participating in educational opportunities in the local community and sometimes via the internet, using virtual tools at a global scale. This most commonly occurs in the form of guest lectures and visits to schools. If you would like to request an educational outreach experience feel free to reach out to me via email.
Examples of community outreach experiences I have offered
World Migratory Bird Day: Insects (importance of insect biodiversity to bird populations and ecosystem health- Gardens at the Ridge)
